   Hallo! My real name is Oliver, but call me Ollie. I was born in the symbolic year of 1984, you do the math. I live in a nice little town somewhere in Bavaria, Germany. I was born in the Swabian region though, so I'm neither a real "Schwob'" nor a real "Bayer" and don't really possess any of their notable typical cultural "qualities" or cliches. I joined devianART in 2003 as a normal member right after I got my first own DSL connection, but initially found it sometime in '01 or '02 on a search for desktop wallpapers. I started really discovering deviantART just as I started discovering the rest of the World Wide Web, so dA has been my one and only online home ever since. Eventually I got interested in dark art photo manipulation and gave it the occasional shot. Some of the more satisfying results reside in my gallery. Over the years I have developed a broad taste in art across various mediums and genres. I greatly enjoy browsing and featuring outstanding art I come across. The absolutely best part is that I work remotely for deviantART - The website, the community, the company. Before I got asked to join the Prints team in early 2005, I used to work as an offset printer for a few years as well as outdoor advertising jobs for a bit. Here, I am the Quality Control Supervisor for the deviantART Prints Service. Alongside $godofodd, I review print submissions to make sure every print source image of every item in our Shop results in the highest quality product possible. Other responsibilities include advising our fine costumer service ladies and gentlemen when needed, maintaining our Prints FAQ, print quality control related artist communications. I occasionally sleep, in which case $godofodd does some of these things as well. I also feature outstanding prints and artists in various ways and areas such as the Shop or the News, administrate and contribute to our official group #printscommunity, and am responsible for Prints IT related matters, like filing bugs for all things Prints and Shop and getting new features implemented. I enjoy working with our elite Devious Technology department. If you have any technical questions regarding prints, from preparing your art for print images to submitting and the actual products, feel free to send me a note, or simply contact our customer service. Please look up our Prints FAQ first though! Occasionally I feature Daily Deviations and generally like to help out other admins and departments with various stuff, especially helping testing new things! Things I don't do include banning or unbanning of any kind, order support of any kind and deviation deleting or moving of any kind, and giving out senior memberships.
